Their Chances of Reaching the 2010 Finals

The Orlando Magic surprised nearly every basketball fan last season by cruising past the Cavs to reach the NBA finals. Not only did they beat the Cavs, but they knocked down a Celtics team that didn't include Kevin Garnett in 7 games, though it was clearly still a tough team with the likes of Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen.

Play to Make Their First NBA Finals Trophy Appear

Do you believe in magic? Though only about two decades old, the Orlando Magic have already made 10 appearances in the NBA playoffs, won three division crowns, a pair of trips to the Eastern Conference Finals, and one trip to the NBA Finals. Next on the team's wish list is their franchise's first NBA Championship.

Orlando Magic

This year the Magic come in off a great off season, surrounded by a lot of hype. Last year's record of 52-30 was good enough to win us the South East division crown. We also made it past the Toronto Raptors and into the second round. There is where we met the Detroit Pistons who like last year where able to send us home early.

The Prayer of Doom

If there was a game that stretched to the final sinew, it was the Orlando Magic versus Portland Trail Blazers. Here was a game that was really decided on the final hooter!

The Orlando Magic is a professional basketball team based in Orlando, Florida. They play in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and are currently coached by Stan Van Gundy. The franchise was founded in 1989 as an expansion franchise and has had such notable NBA stars such as Shaquille O'Neal, Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill, Rashard Lewis, Tracy McGrady, Steve Francis, Dwight Howard, Ben Wallace, and Vince Carter throughout its young history. The franchise has also been in the playoffs for more than half of their existence (12 playoff appearances in 21 years). Orlando has been the most successful of the four expansion teams brought into the league in 1988 and 1989 in terms of winning percentage. As of 2010, they are the only team in the "big four" sports leagues to play in the city of Orlando.
