What Should the Dallas Mavericks Do?
The Dallas Mavericks traded for Jason Kidd in hopes of winning this season's title...what happened? And what should they do after this season?
New and Improved in 09-10
The Dallas Mavericks lost in the second round to the Denver Nuggets in the 09' playoffs. This time the Mavs weren't the favorites but the under dogs - which they are not familiar in being. The Mavs have fallen back the last couple seasons - they were once the frontrunner in the West but now have become an average team.
Cuban’s Antics Spur Sales of Dallas Mavericks Tickets
People buy Dallas Mavericks tickets for varied reasons. Some are true fans of the sport of basketball and the team. Others will buy tickets sporadically as a means to have something to do.
"Trade" All Makes Sense
Mark Cuban never intended for Devin Harris, Desagana Diop, Maurice Ager, Jerry Stackhouse, or Devean George to leave for the New Jersey Nets. I think that's definitely clear, at least in my mind, until he proves otherwise.
The Dallas Mavericks (also known as the Mavs) are a professional basketball team based in Dallas, Texas, USA. They are members of the Southwest Division of the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Founded in 1980, the Mavericks have won three division titles (1987, 2007, 2010) and one conference championship (2006). According to a 2008 Forbes Magazine report, they are the seventh most valuable basketball franchise in the United States, valued at approximately $466 million; the franchise is surpassed in value only by the New York Knicks, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Chicago Bulls, the Detroit Pistons, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Houston Rockets.
