Toyota FJ Cruiser

The FJ Cruiser is the coolest, most unapologetic vehicle ever built by Toyota, a bold SUV not for everyone but it could be, given its off-road prowess, capable engine, interesting interior, and exciting design. About that design: that's another thing that's refreshing when an automaker keeps to the original concept of a car and creates a really cool vehicle.

Saturn Sky Red Line

Last year General Motors debuted two beautiful new roadsters, the Pontiac Solstice and the Saturn Sky. Both cars received praise for their inspired design, but for many, the hard lines and chiseled angles of the Sky were thoroughly captivating. But beauty isn't everything. A car like the Sky needs to drive as well as it looks, and that's where the Redline comes in. General Motors has taken the well-behaved Sky and injected it with some serious performance. Under the hood, GM has fitted the Sky Redline with a 2.0 liter, turbo-charged Ecotec engine that cranks out a whopping 260 horsepower and 260 pound feet of torque. That's a lot of horses for this little roadster; in fact, GM claims that pound for pound, this is the most powerful engine in its lineup. And it shows, especially off of the line, where the Red Line jumps to 60 miles per hour in just 5 and one-half seconds. But that's not all, the Sky Redline is also ready to corner with a four-wheel independent, performance tuned suspension, 18 inch alloy wheels, and in case you get in trouble, GM's Stabilitrak system is there to help get you back on track.

Toyota Camry

It's a Toyota. This simple phrase has made life easy and profitable for Toyota salespeople, made domestic car manufacturers green with envy, and has bred such confidence in Camry and Tacoma owners that they border on arrogant. Historically, Toyota buyers have often been justified in this smug sense of superiority if you were smart, you would've bought a Toyota, too. It's your own damn fault that you're missing work again to sit at the (insert non-Toyota brand name here) dealership waiting for your car to get fixed. Burned by a Chevy? Buy a Toyota. Ford dealer treating you poorly? Buy a Toyota. Need a wagon? SUV? Compact? Buy a Matrix, or a Highlander, or a Yaris, all by Toyota. Need a full-size truck? Wait for the redesigned Tundra, the unofficial Second Coming, via Texas and courtesy of Toyota.
